Truly compassionate wealthy individuals may find it difficult to maintain their extreme wealth while adhering to compassionate principles. This is because:

While it’s not impossible for wealthy individuals to lead compassionately, it would likely require a willingness to prioritize collective well-being over personal financial gain, potentially resulting in a reduction of their own economic status.
